The Howard Hughes Medical Institute is to award 80 Predoctoral Fellowships in the Biological Sciences. Fellows must pursue full-time study toward a Ph.D. or Sc.D. in selected Biological Sciences. The fellowships support training in fundamental research with a stipend of $16,000 for 2000-2001. There is no dependency allowance. Application deadline is November 9, 1999.
