The Health Care Financing Administration Dissertation Fellowship Grants Program is designed to stimulate the involvement of health services researchers in the study of health care financing and delivery issues. It provides financial support to graduate students while they complete their doctoral dissertations in social science disciplines investigating health care financing and delivery issues (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program). In the past three years, 30-50% of all applications have been funded. Funding has been increased to $30,000.
