Graduate Student Ambassadors

Meet the 2009-2010 Graduate Student Ambassadors

* 2010 application at bottom of the page.

This select group of students actively recruits new students for the Graduate School by participating in recruiting events, traveling, mentoring new students or sharing information with prospective new graduate students.

Auburn University’s inclusive graduate community welcomes students from under-represented groups as well as students from countries all over the world.  Our Graduate Student Ambassadors are instrumental in building this community and recruiting new students to join it.

If you enjoy meeting new people, sharing your experiences, and developing your leadership potential, join the Graduate School Ambassadors.

Qualifications: Ambassadors must be degree-seeking students (full-time preferred) with a GPA of at least 3.5 and have excellent communication skills. Students must also be making satisfactory progress toward the completion of their degree and have the approval of their advisor (major professor or thesis director) and the Graduate School.

Commitment: Students selected for the program agree to attend an orientation session and participate in at least one recruiting activity during the year.  Each Ambassador also serves as a point of contact for prospective graduate students.  Graduate Student Ambassadors typically serve for one academic year.

Application: To apply, please complete the application form here.
