Black Graduate and Professional Student Association (BGPSA)

A chapter of the National Black Graduate Student Association [NBGSA]. It is an enterprising academic and professional organization of young emerging scholars. The mission is to advance the scholarly activity of Black students and to improve the conditions of the social environment.

International Student Organization (ISO)

The International Student Organization mission is to improve multi-national understanding and promote relationships between people of different cultures.

The ISO also helps ease the process of adaptation for international students. We actively promote diversity and beneficial interaction between the international students and American Students.

Indian Student Association (ISA)

Indian Student Association has been functional over 25 years and is one of the largest and most active student organizations.

Although, it primarily aims at helping Asian Indian students, the main focus of the organization is to carry on a strong tradition of spreading awareness of Indian culture and traditions, promoting cultural exchange, and embracing diversity among all individuals and communities.

Chinese Students & Scholars Organization (CSO)

Chinese Students & Scholars Organization provides programs of social, cultural, and educational functions of Chinese-American interest. It serves as a vehicle and forum for the expression of the interests of its members.

Turkish Student Organization (TSO)

Turkish Student Organization (TSO) is an organization formed to introduce Turkish culture to Auburn University 's students, faculty, and staff. TSO also brings together the Turkish community through picnics and celebrations. TSO provides help to the new students from Turkey in settling and adapting to college life in Auburn.

Black Student Union (BSU)

Auburn University's BSU was founded in 1984 by several enthusiastic black students, and was originally known as the Black Student Action Committee (BSAC). In 1989, it adopted the name Black Student Union (BSU). Since its founding, the BSU has striven to improve race relations on campus and in the community by creating an environment that is receptive to African American culture and ideals.

The Black Student Union at Auburn University upholds the following principles: To represent the interests and concerns of Black Students at Auburn University. To bring together all aspects of Black Student life for the purpose of improving the campus environment. Encourages involvement of Black students in ALL campus activities. Discourages and abates institutional and individual acts and symbols of racism. Promotes the Auburn Spirit and tradition of Excellence. Heightens awareness and friendships between races.
