Approval of October 6, 2004 Meeting Minutes

Minutes were approved, as written, by all in attendance.

 

Treasurer's Report

Dr. Joe Wilkins disseminated copies of the treasurer's report to all in attendance. As of February 9, 2005 the balance on hand is $6,272.97. Dr Wilkins also distributed copies of the contract with Island House Hotel for the Spring retreat April 20-22, 2005. The treasurer's report was approved.

UAB Program Proposal/M.S. Physician Assistant Studies

A discussion occurred regarding the format for submission of proposals to the Council. The Executive Committee would like to receive hard copies of proposals, and have a copy placed on the website. A deadline to review and respond will be established.

 

Agenda for March 9, 2005 Meeting

Several topics for discussion were presented. It was decided that at the March meeting of the full Council admissions standards (use of test scores, etc) will be the topic for discussion. Drs. Katz and McFarland will serve as discussion leaders.

Several other topics were identified and can placed on the agenda for the Spring retreat, including an invitation to Dr. Malone and Mr. Gordon Stone.
